Choosing an Educational Path for Children
Nothing is more important than the education of the world’s children. Unfortunately, in many areas this education is not up to the level it needs to be at. The good news is that this problem has been identified and many in the world are doing all they can to remedy the issue.
Those who are fortunate enough to live in Chicago, Illinois have many great options for the education of their children. One of the top options is the Montessori Chicago. Chicago Montessori schools provide top of the line education to children from the ages of three to fifteen.
These schools teach according to the ideas set forth by Maria Montessori. She believed that the work of a child was “to create the person she/he will become.” In order to do this they must be given the freedom to use their inborn powers to develop physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
A specific Montessori school that can be investigated is the Council Oak Montessori School. This school was opened in the fall of 1990 at the Morgan Park United Methodist Church and has been prospering since then. All of the founding families of this Montessori school are still active in the school today.
So when choosing an education path for a child, Montessori education should always be considered. The Montessori method follows a layout that ensures a high-level of educational development. Those who live in Chicago, Illinois are lucky. They have the opportunity to pick from many great educational paths and many different Montessori schools.
